Rattus Norvegicus gets more expensive.
Pest control service to be harmonised by WC.
Under the mantra of 'harmonisation', Conservative controlled Wiltshire Council (WC) intends to impose new costs on some residents. South Wiltshire residents used to have a free rodent removal service from Salisbury District Council. Now, Wiltshire Council wants to harmonise it by charging £50 a time. Costs for other pests such as wasps will also be increased.WC say: "Wiltshire Council is currently reviewing pest control services across the county in order to assess the best way to deliver the service and make improvements. The council will be looking at a number of options over the coming months. No decision has yet been taken."One thing you can be sure of, and that's that nobody will end-up paying less!
