WC budget still seems to be in disarray.

A report to the WC cabinet shows that the council is still having a lot of trouble in keeping its finances in order.

The various 'savings' reported by the planning area, etc. etc. look to be a real smoke and mirrors job. We were promised savings if we went down the unitary route, and yet now we are being told that it will be difficult for the Conservative administration to balance the books.

I await further news on how Jane Scott is going to dig herself out of this ever deepening hole.
