After 5 years hard work the Hilperton VDS now has 'official' status.
At our meeting last week, the cabinet of West Wiltshire District Council adopted the VDS as supplementary planning guidance. This means that the VDS must be consulted for planning issues and, in fact, the parish council has already objected to a planning application quoting from the VDS.

The process was fully funded by Hilperton Parish Council, but the work was done by members of the village; the parish council had no input to the contents.

It was a long haul to bring the project to fruition and my congratulations go to all those that have been involved in the process.
