Greensquare submits its planning application.

The long-anticipated planning application for the land to the rear of 303 - 305 Marsh Road has been submitted.

The application reference is W/09/03585/FUL and it is for 18 houses together with associated roads and parking. Full details can be obtained from either the parish council clerk or the Bradley Road office of Wiltshire Council.

It's interesting to note that Greensquare (the applicant) is using Pegasus Planning Group as its agent - Pegasus is the local planning arm of building giant Persimmon.

Without wishing to seem cynical it's interesting that, as with many planning applications that could prove to be contentious, the application was made just before Christmas. The other favourite time for 'possibly contentious' applications is August when, of course, people tend to be on holiday.
