At the meeeting on Thursday, Trowbridge Area Board made grants totalling £14,061.

Trowbridge Town Council was awarded £2,500 for its Cultural Olympiad Dance Festival.

Friends of Biss Meadows Country Park received £561 to purchase tools, equipment and safety wear.

Longmeadow Tenants and Residents Association received £1,000 to purchase equipment for community engagement and youth activities.

Trowbridge Pub and Club Watch was awarded £5,000 for the provision and monitoring of enhancements to its radio system.

West Ashton Village Hall received £5,000 towards the cost of installing photovoltaic panels in its roof.
