Almost a 'bail-out' scheme for house builders.
Barratt Developments and Persimmon have done very well out of the government 'kick-start' programme.The Homes and Communities Agency will have allocated £875 million when the second round of the kick-start programme is completed. The top four of the 'kick-start cash awards' table so far are:-Barratt 34 schemes £46.8 millionPersimmon 32 schemes £30 millionBellway 12 schemes £22.2 millionBovis 7 schemes £16.4 million.
