If you want a postal vote you must act now!

Did you know that you can register for a postal vote for any election and without having to have a specific reason for asking to do so?

With the general election on the 6th May, will you be away on holiday or business?

Please click here for postal vote information or, due to time constraints, contact Wiltshire Council on 776655.

By having a postal vote you can vote even if you are away on holiday or business on election day and, of course, you don't lose your vote should you be too ill to get to the polling station (or you can apply for an 'emergency' proxy vote until 5.00 pm on polling day if this should happen to you).

If you are likely to be away for more than a couple of weeks a proxy, rather than a postal, vote might be your best option. Please click here for proxy vote information. Proxy applications have to be with Wiltshire Council by 27th April.

In the past, people have died for the right to vote - don't lose yours simply because you will be away on polling day!!
