Ernie Clark. Hilperton Division, Wiltshire Council.

Why do some people take the risk?

I can't understand the mentality of anyone that fly tips - especially in Hilperton where we have the Canal Road recycling centre on our door step.

If you're a potential fly tipper I won't try to twinge your conscience but, instead, give you a few salient points.

1) You can be fined up to £20,000 for fly tipping.

2) You can be sentenced to up to 7 months in prison for fly tipping.

3) The Police can seize your car if it is used for fly tipping.

4) Wiltshire Council is able to use concealed cameras to monitor possible fly tipping sites.
