Are you looking to help provide activities, facilities and equipment that are important to your local community?

If the answer is yes, then community area grants are for you. Currently, Trowbridge Area Board has £48,324 available to support grant applications for the remainder of 2010/11. The application criteria includes:

• up to £5,000 available for your community project (more in exceptional cases)

• up to £1,000 may be available for small projects, where there may be no need for you to find other funding

• up to 50% of the total cost of a project can be applied for, where the total project cost is more than £1,000.
