Thank you for your support in the WCC election.
Close, but not quite there!
By my calculation, the result was the closest in a 'full' election since at least 1993 and the winning margin for the Lib Dem candidate would need a swing of only 3.5% in 2009 to lose the seat!
Four years is a long time in politics, and who knows what will happen before then. However, you can rest assured that I will ensure that our new WCC councillor doesn't take her eye off the 'Holt & Paxcroft' ball by spending too much time on her District Council duties for Trowbridge College Ward!
