Ernie Clark. Hilperton Division, Wiltshire Council.

A success story that will go from strength to strength.

The Hilperton allotments will be blessed and officially opened today.

Although they have been cultivated for a few months now, today will see the official opening by the Chairman of the Parish Council.

In the recent best-kept village competition, the judges praised the allotments and commented how hard the holders had worked to convert them from farmland in such a short period of time.

Thanks must go also to the sub-committee of the parish council that drove the scheme forward - Cllrs. Viv Bielecki, Robert House, and Kendrick Jackson.
