This guy obviously has too much time on his hands!

With our armed forces fighting all over the World, it's good to know that our MPs don't want to waste MOD time by asking flippant quetions.

The following written question has been submitted by Matthew Hancock, MP for West Suffolk. I expect they are really proud to have elected him:-

"To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many chairs his Department has purchased in each year since 1997; how much it spent in each such year; and what the five most expensive chairs purchased in each such year were."

I'm sure he has a good reason to ask the question, but will we ever find out what it is? I wait with baited breath.

I wonder what the cost will be to supply the answers? What else could that be spent on? Several thousand rounds of ammunition or a set of body armour I expect.
