Things are set to start moving - sometime soon.

I have now had a reply from Abbey New Homes.

They have purchased both Blue Hills and the land south of The Grange from Gallagher.

Their intention is to start building this autumn, probably on The Grange site, then move onto Blue Hills. They hope to have the first houses on the market next spring.

They will not be seeking to change either of the extant outline permissions which cover such things as access and siting of the properties.

The reason that the advertising hoarding on Devizes Road mentions only larger houses is due to the fact that they are the ones which will be available for public purchase. Abbey didn't see the point of advertising the smaller houses as they have to be sold to an RSL for affordable rent.
