Has the relief road now been started?

It would seem that Persimmon has commenced building the Gap road.

Workmen seem to have started work on protecting trees that are to remain.

Condition 17 of the planning permission states 'Before any development is commenced on site, including site works or storage of any description, all trees to be retained on site must be protected. The details of this protection shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority, and thereafter retained on site during the period of construction. REASON: To ensure that the existing trees of value are adequately protected.'
