Plans for both sites are moving forward.

Abbey New Homes is getting close to submitting formal planning applications for both sites.

At Blue Hills the only reserved matters are for the design of the houses and the landscaping. Abbey has met the Wiltshire Council tree officer on-site and agreed which trees need to be felled. It is their intention to retain all the hedging to the site with any fences being erected on the 'house' side - this should ensure that the external appearance is as little altered as possible. The number and type of houses will be as agred in the outline permission (27 private plus 11 affordable).

At the Grange site, the only outline agreements were for the area of the site where the housing will be situated and access. Their intention is to apply for 21 private and 9 affordable houses. The affordable homes would probably be split into two blocks, one of 4 the other of 5. Again, they are intending to preserve the mature hedging that surrounds the site.

As sonn as the applications are made I will post the details on this site and also drop some info sheets to local houses.
