WC is slow to deliver - again.

Wiltshire Council has confirmed that it won’t be able to keep to the timetable it previously announced for the introduction of an improved recycling service.

As part of the new, improved service, cardboard and plastics are to be collected from the kerbside, with new bins being issued. The original plan was for the changes to be brought in during autumn 2011 in our area.

This has now been delayed, though council officers say they hope to start cardboard and plastic collection “within the next financial year”, which presumably means by April 2012 but, knowing 'officer speak', could mean April 2013.
