Decisions were made on both Paxcroft Ward items, last night.
The application to extend the time limit for submitting reserved matters applications for approval 98/00284 was agreed. I suggested refusal, but got no support; such is life.

The other item, for the new road from New Terrace to the Marina, was refused. This item saw Trevor Carbin and I 'singing from the same hymn sheet' as we were both concerned about several safety aspects, amongst other things. Hopefully, Persimmon will sit down and discuss our concerns, and not go running off to The Planning Inspector with an appeal.

Although not in Paxcroft Ward you may be interested to know that the application for shops and housing on the old Ushers bottling plant in Trowbridge, was refused. Not a decision I agree with, but several Trowbridge members didn't seem at all keen on it.
