Shock finding - the Earth isn't flat!
No wonder we pay so much in tax.
The Times had an interesting snippet of news earlier this week.Apparently, a study by the Environment Agency (EA) titled 'Life Cycle Assessment of Supermarket Carrier Bags' provides the shock conclusion that plastic 'bags for life', if used four or more times, will have a lower carbon footprint that single use bags.It goes on to state 'the key to reducing the overall impact is to re-use the bag as many times as possible'.Sadly, the EA couldn't say how much it cost to produce the report!Rumour has it that the next report will be 'Assessment of the long-term effect of gravity on falling apples'.
