What is happening at the site?

My thanks to the residents that have contacted me today.

I have been in contact with a Planning Enforcement officer at Wiltshire Council (Daniel Tyrell) and he advises that the work being undertaken does NOT break any planning regulations.

Some of the trees on the site have a Tree Preservation Order on them and they cannot be felled or lopped. To do so is a criminal offence.

The council's 'tree officer' (Chris Kirk) has met the contractors on-site and has agreed the work that can be undertaken. If you are concerned about exactly what work is being done on the site please phone Mr. Kirk on 776655 or email him at chris.kirk@wiltshire.gov.uk
