Station Road, Westbury will be closed overnight.

Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic the B3097 Westbury; from its junction with Slag Lane for a distance of approximately 225 metres in a north-westerly direction towards its junction with The Ham covering the area of the rail under bridge.

To enable: Network Rail to carry out essential strengthening of Rail Bridge.

Alternative Route: Via The Ham – Hawkeridge Road, Heywood/North Bradley – Westbury Road, North Bradley/Heywood – Trowbridge Road, Westbury – West End – Station Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period.

These works will commence on 15th April 2011 at 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours on 18th April 2011. Works will continue as nightly closures between the hours of 20:00 to 05:00 from 19th – 21st April, 26th – 28th April, 3rd – 8th May and 28th May 2011.
