First the good news. Wiltshire is on the 2012 Olympic torch route.

Now the not so good news. Salisbury has been chosen to host the Evening Celebration event as part of the London 2012 Olympic Torch relay. It is one of 66 Evening Celebration locations across the UK confirmed by the London 2012 Organising Committee.

The full route will be announced later this year so Trowbridge might pick up some crumbs from Salisbury's table!
