Will this become another farce?

Let's hope that Wiltshire Council (WC) actually delivers this project to us.

At the meeting of Trowbridge Area Board last night, a presentation was given by WC. Apart from still refusing to confirm where it will be sited (despite the fact that the would-be location is obvious) we were also told:

Further background work will take place between January and April 2012.

Consultation and design will take place between April and December 2012.

The facility should be available for use in early 2015.

Currently, there are no funds in the capital budget to actually pay for the scheme.

Other areas, such as Melksham and Salisbury, will get their facilities before the county town gets ours!!
