Help to Live at Home.
Will the service get better or worse?
In their latest attempt to save money, the Conservatives at County Hall have 'improved' the care service that the elderly receive in their own home. They recently put the service out to (a rather shambolic) tender and various companies were selected. For the Hilperton area the winner was Complete Care Services. According to Wiltshire Council 'We are confident that Complete Care is capable of providing an excellent service.'Details of the winning bids are confidential but I understand that the Wiltshire Times is due to run a story soon highlighting how the various new providers source their staff etc. etc.It could make interesting reading and throw some light on how the new carer companies have managed to cut costs when compared to the existing providers.
