Wiltshire would not be the only authority without a Chief Executive (CE).

Other authorities which have no CE have different ideas on how to run themsleves.

Some adopt the structure that sees an elected Mayor running the show as their personal piece of England. I wonder if this is actually the grand plan for someone in Wiltshire? With the next elections due in May 2013 the timing would seem to be about right...
