Ernie Clark. Hilperton Division, Wiltshire Council.

Deliveries started last week.

The delivery of blue lidded bins for the collection of plastic bottles and cardboard started last week in west Wiltshire. Delivery schedules have been planned to reflect collection start dates; this will ensure that customers get their bins in sufficient time for their first collection. On this basis residents in Bradford on Avon will receive their bins first, followed by residents in Melksham and Westbury.

Collections in west Wiltshire will start on 7 November. Residents have already been sent a collection calendar with their collection schedule for the coming year. Information on collection dates for each household is also available online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk

Please note, that at the same time as the new collections start, the dates for household waste and garden waste collection will change for all residents in west Wiltshire. These revised dates were also included on the individual collection calendars which have already been delivered and are available too on the council’s website.
