An interesting approach from Eric Pickles.

Politicians normally have a knack for making even the most boring policy announcements sound exciting.

However, the Communities Secretary Eric Pickles seems not to be one of them.

At the launch of plans to tackle problem families a while ago he said 'We published a prospectus today and you might be thinking it looks as dull as dishwater. That's because it is as dull as dishwater'.

Well, you can't get much more honest than that!
