I'm not a 'happy bunny' today.

I was recently invited to a confidential meeting regarding the route for the 'Torch Relay' for next year's Olympics; the inference being that Hilperton was on the route.

However, now that the route is public, I can reveal that we aren't!!

Apparently, I had been invited as the representative for Trowbridge Area Board (even though I am no longer the Chairman), but no one had actually bothered to tell me!!

So, sorry, but on the 22nd May the torch will arrive from Somerset via Southwick, stop for lunch in Trowbridge (at Clarendon Coillege) and then go via Bradford-on-Avon and Bath to its overnight stop in Bristol. Detailed timings will be available soon.

The 'Wiltshire' overnight stop will be on the 11th July in Salisbury.
