An application for land along Whaddon Lane has been refused.
When Hilperton Parish Council considered the application, Cllr. Tucker, as required by the Standard Board for England rules, was not present. The parish council objected to the application on several grounds, and the planning department at WWDC has now refused the application using their delegated powers.

Cllr. Tucker now has the usual rights to appeal the decision, or he may chose to modify his application and resubmit it.

As there are a number of poultry units along Whaddon Lane which the various owners may want to convert, it will be interesting to see which course is pursued by the applicant.
