Is Wiltshire Council is this efficient with its housing stock?

Selwood Housing has saved £142,000 this year by improving how it manages its empty homes.

Just 18 out of Selwood Housing's 5,600 homes are empty in any month and only two homes have been empty for over 3 months.

After a review of processes and working with a new contractor it now takes an average of 18.8 days to re-let a general needs home. Because of less demand, sheltered housing takes a little longer.

As well as improving the value for money of their services, and making sure people in housing need have full access to homes, their performance puts them in the top 25% of all housing associations across the UK.
