So, what is happening to the two applications?

Both applications (on the ex-Bowyer site and the old Tesco site) have been submitted to Wiltshire Council and 'called-in' by the local WC councillor.

This means that they will be decided by either the western area planning committee or, unlikely, the strategic planning committee.

Both applications are working their way through the system but The 'Tesco site' application apparently has less 'hoops to jump through' and so might get to be decided as early as next month.
