Monday is the anniversary of Accession Day for HM Queen Elizabeth II.

Under our Constitution we can never be without a monarch. As soon as one dies the next-in-line immediately succeeds them. Hence 'The King is dead, long live the Queen'.

To celebrate this it is hoped that as many church bells as possible will be rung on Monday.

St. Michael's, Hilperton will be ringing at 1.30pm for between thirty and forty five minutes. Hopefully many will hear and enjoy them.
