The WC western planning meeting on the 15th could be interesting.

The agenda for the meeting is now available on the WC web site.

Agenda item 6a is W/11/03052/FUL - Former Tesco's Site, St Stephens Place, Trowbridge (one of the two cinema applications with the council).

In a web post a short while ago, I said that this application was probably an 'easier' application for the planning officers and so was likely to come to the committee before the Bowyer's one.

It will be interesting to see what advice the planning officers give as a) By the time of the meeting, the new Wiltshire Core Strategy will have been endorsed at a full WC council meeting for public consultation and so carries more 'weight' in planning terms and b) Each planning application should be considered on its own merits without regard to financial viability - will the planning report make reference to the 'other' cinema application?
