A fun night out at little, or even no, cost...
15th September sees the regular quiz being run to raise funds for the village hall.
Doors open at 7.30 for a prompt 8.00 start and will have ten rounds each with ten questions. The evening should finish by approx 10.30.
The cost is £5 a head and that includes 'table nibbles' and cash prizes for every round (not always to the highest scoring team) and at least the first three teams overall.
In addition, the bar will be open for contestants to ensure they don't suffer from dehydration! BTW, it now accepts payment by credit/debit card!
Teams can comprise up to six people.
50% of the entry fee will be used for the prize fund.
The last quiz night saw nearly £300 distributed in prize money and the hall well filled.
An ideal way to support the hall, have an evening out and possibly go home with some winnings in your pocket!
