Young people will be able to swim for free during school holidays as Wiltshire Council's pledge to fund free swimming during school holidays continues.

Children aged up to 16 can enjoy free swimming during all public swimming sessions at their local leisure centres in Wiltshire throughout the school holidays.

The decision was made to provide free swimming for under 16's during all public swimming sessions throughout school holidays at a council budget meeting to encourage children to be active and stay healthy.

Those under 16 will be able to gain free access to all public swimming sessions during the Wiltshire Council recognised school holidays. Please contact your local pool for further details.

The free swim sessions do not include sessions such as aerobics, aqua natal, aqua tots, parent/toddler sessions or children's swimming lessons.

The free swimming will operate to 5th April.
