BT to remove more payphones?
More payphones are under threat in this area.
Of 138 payphones in West Wiltshire, BT want to remove another 5 and change a further 17 so that they don't accept coins; they would only be useable if you have a BT payment card or for 999 calls.
None of the effected 'phones are within Paxcroft Ward, but a few are adjacent :
GREAT HINTON - convert to cashless.
WEST ASHTON (A350 laybys) - convert to cashless.
