Over £500,000 was paid out in the 11/12 financial year.

Wiltshire Council paid out in excess of half a million pounds to two officers in the financial year 2011/12.

The package paid to ex Chief Executive Andrew Kerr, including salary, allowances, pension contributions and 'compensation for loss of Office' came to £328,150. Mr. Kerr left the council in November 2011.

Another (un-named) corporate director who left in December 2011 received £233,713, of which £126,165 was compensation.

Back in February I lodged a Freedom of Information Act request with WC (which they still haven't answered) asking 'I wish to know the various cash amounts involved in the settlement with Mark Boden following his recent resignation from Wiltshire Council.' Whether Mr. Boden is the 'un-named' person we shall soon find out.

I have given WC until 5.00pm on Friday to provide me with the information I have asked. If they fail to do so I will make a complaint to the Information Commissioner - who must be getting quite used to complaints about WC.
