The celebrations at Paxcroft Mead will commence at 12 noon.
The purpose of the day is not only to officially recognise the formal transfer of the Paxcroft Mead Community Centre, from Marshgate Holdings to the Paxcroft Mead Community (held in Trust by Hilperton Parish Council) after 5 years or so waiting; but also to open the Paxcroft Mead Community Celebration Open Day. The Day will consist of many attractions both inside the community centre but also on the open space nearby.

The Community Centre is well used with various user groups ranging from Tumble Tots to Short Mat Bowls and just about everything in between. So, there is a lot that the centre can offer to local and wider communities, and they intend to highlight these facilities during the day.

To round proceedings off, the DS Big Band will be performing at the centre in the evening.
