Planning committee decisions.
All theStaverton items were discussed last Thursday.
Two of these applications were called before the committee by me 'in the interest of wider public debate'. This is because the sites could be de-allocated from 'residential use' in the coming Structure Plan.
Details are :-
Application 04/02307/OUT. Residential development and associated works. Land Between New Terrace and Marina Drive.
This was REFUSED planning permission due to the 'de-allocation' uncertainties.
Application 04/02303/OUT. Residential development and associated works. Land at Staverton triangle.
Despite the de-allocation concerns, this was approved, but with extra conditions relating to public transport, and height of buildings.
Application 05/01352/FUL. Erection of 22 dwellings, associated landscaping, public open space, footpaths, roads, access, vehicle manoevring and parking. Land south west of Elmfield.
This too was approved, but with conditions attached to two of the plots.
