There are two Paxcroft Mead items on the agenda.
The contentious application by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries to build a pub on land at the local centre returns, as if on a piece of elastic, to the WWDC planning committee next week.

The application has already been refused twice, but the applicants now think that they have addressed the committee's previous concerns. These related to parking, and the fact that the site is allocated, under a section 106 agreement, for a medical centre (an allocation agreed by the landowner only last year). The logic behind the proposed amendment to the 106 agreement seems rather ‘twisted’ to my mind, but probably sums up the current attitude of our local Primary Care Trust.

It is now too late to formally register any objection (or support) for the scheme, but you do have the right to attend the meeting next week and speak. The meeting will be held at the council offices in Bradley Road, Trowbridge on Thursday 06 October, commencing at 7.15pm. If you wish to speak you must register to do so before 7.05pm.

If you would like a copy of the report please either contact myself, or view it on the WWDC website

The other Paxcroft item relates to an application to extend 3 Faverolle Way.
