Government quango in consultation.

Laws which guarantee households the right to light through their windows could be scrapped to increase development.

A consultation paper from the government quango 'The Law Commission' suggests reviewing the law to make it easier to develop new homes.

It examines whether the law strikes a 'proper' balance between the interests of home owners and the need for development.

The commission is calling for responses to the consultation by 16th May.
