Ernie Clark. Hilperton Division, Wiltshire Council.

Three trees have recently been removed.

In response to public concern, the following has come from Wiltshire Council.

'The trees were removed here as they were damaging the fence and were totally the wrong species, planted in very close proximity to the fence, and likely to grow very large.

There is due to be some more removals in coming weeks from behind the next two properties adjacent as they have also asked for works to be done for the same reason.

There will be some replacement planting of smaller species in the dormant season.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Gray.'
