New charge points for electric cars.

Wiltshire will soon have new rapid charge points for electric cars across six locations thanks to £225,000 of Government funding.

Wiltshire Council recognises there is a real need for electric charging points to allow owners of electric vehicles the opportunity to visit, pass through or commute to Wiltshire.

The two year project will start with a trial at Bradford on Avon railway car park. A rapid charge point, which only takes 30 minutes to charge most vehicles to 80 percent, will be installed and charging will be free during this trial.
