The appeal was by Ashford Homes against Wiltshire Council.

The application was for 'the erection of 30 dwellings and associated works'.

The application reference at Wiltshire Council is W/12/01840/OUT and WC refused the application.

The hearing was held recently at Hilperton Village Hall and I spoke against the appeal.

The Inspector has now made his decision and has REJECTED the appeal. If anyone wants full details I can supply an electronic copy of the report.

Had the appeal been allowed it could have had very serious ramifications for every village which has a Village Policy Limit (as Hilperton does).
