Not a good start....

You might have received a leaflet recently from the Conservative candidate hoping to serve as our MP after the next general election. It was headed 'Bradford on Avon matters'.

As it featured ending the BoA traffic bottleneck (and the leaflet asks us to 'contact Michelle for help & advice'), I emailed her on Sunday as follows:- 'Hi, Re Bradford on Avon. Your recent leaflet refers to traffic congestion and asks whether residents are ‘fed up of the grid-lock?’. How do you propose to deal with this issue?'

To date I have had no reply or even an acknowledgement. I don't know whether this is due to her not knowing how she proposes to deal with the problem or whether she is too busy.

Not a very good first impression from a prospective MP...
