The next step is about to be taken...

A Planning Inspector will decide on the fate of the Bowyer site in Trowbridge.

The appeal will start at the Civic Centre, Trowbridge tomorrow (7th) and will last for probably four days.

In a few months time we will find out whether the site will host either another cinema or a petrol filling station (PFS) to put some pressure on the price that Tesco charges us.

If the Inspector allows the appeal we get another eight cinema screens (probably); if s/he refuses the appeal then we will either get the new PFS with the supermarket or the applicant might throw his toys out of his pram and walk away (unlikley as Morrison's still seems very keen to open a new supermarket even though the company seems to be having mixed fortunes at the moment).
