There will be a special area board event in Trowbridge this Thursday (March 27th) for older residents, where they will be able to discuss a number of local issues which have an impact on them.

People will be able to browse a range of stalls manned by a wide variety of organisations specialising in the services and interests of older people.

Speakers will talk on a range of topics including:

• Getting involved in volunteering

• Saving energy and money

• Information from the Citizens Advice Bureau

• Living well with dementia.

Following the presentations, people will have the opportunity to ask questions of a panel of experts and look around the market place to chat to the various stallholders.

The free event being organised by Trowbridge Area Board and TCAF, is at the Civic Centre in Trowbridge on March 27 from 10am to 1pm. The speakers will be on from 10.30am, and light refreshments will be provided.
