A decision was made yesterday by the planning officer.

The parish council had two concerns with the original application.

They were the proposed colour/finish of the fencing and the appearance of the site from the canal and tow path.

The applicants agreed to green fencing and additional screening/landscaping on the canal-facing side of the site.

Accordingly, the application was permitted with conditions.
