The Hilperton Relief Road is getting closer....

There is little doubt that the new road will be started soon.

Next friday (25th) I have a meeting at County Hall regarding a few aspects of the new road.

One of these is the suggestion that the speed limit should be set at 50mph rather than the currently conditioned 40mph.

The benefit of this would be that more traffic might be tempted to use the road as the journey will be slightly quicker but the downside is that noise levels might rise (despite a 'quiet' road surface having to be used).
