Update on rights of way.

Several people have contacted me about the 'fencing' work which has been carried out at the Fieldways end of the road.

I have been out this morning to look at the work and NO public rights of way have been obstructed.

The only public footpath runs from the kissing gate with Church Field in a straight line alongside the fence to your left, past the out-of-use cattle trough and on behind Albany Close to join Victoria Road.

The paths across to Middle Lane are NOT public rights of way nor are the paths radiating out from Fieldways.

Although used by many people for many years these paths are NOT shown on the definitive map of public rights of way in Hilperton Parish.
