One of the rumours is true...

As with just about everything concerning the HRR, there are rumours about the roundabouts at each end of it.

The following is information supplied to me by WC highways

The Fieldways Roundabout will be realigned/enlarged as part of the HRR works. All construction work is being funded by the applicant (Persimmon Homes Wessex).

The Marsh Road end of Wyke Road is NOT being re-opened, access will continue to be from the Horse Road/Canal Road end.

If anyone wants them emailed to them, I have drawings showing the two roundabouts to be constructed. The drawings also show the existing road layouts.
